SIX REQUIREMENTS

All Verifiable. All Non-Negotiable.

STANDARD 01

Zero Prohibited Substances

No hormone implants. No ractopamine. No sub-therapeutic antibiotics. No beta-agnoists. No ionophores as growth promoters. These prohibitors cover the animal’s entire life, including before Proven Proteins producer ownership. Any exposure is permanent disqualification, with no exceptions.

STANDARD 02

100% Grass & Forage Finished

From weaning to harvest, no grain in the finishing phases. Pasture access required throughout the growing season. Hay and forage-based feeds only. Commodity grain, DDGS corn silage, and ionophore-laced supplements are prohibited at all times.

STANDARD 03

Direct-Source Batch Traceability

Every Proven Proteins product is traceable to our verified partner network. Batches are sourced exclusively from farms that have passed independent nutrient testing, signed our standards agreement, and operate under ongoing oversight. Every farm in every batch meets the same Proven Standard.

STANDARD 04

Five Freedom Animal Welfare

Continuous pasture access during the growing season. Fresh water at all times. Adequate forage nutrition without chronic supplementation. Space to express natural behavior. Management that minimizes fear, pain, and distress. Low-stress stockmanship required principles or equivalent.

STANDARD 05

Third-Party Verified Nutrient Density

Every producer tests their raw meat through an accredited independent lab before it enters our supply chain. The panel covers omega-6:3 ratio, minerals, heavy metals, and phytonutrients. We also run our own random unannounced verification pulls, independent of producer results, with no advance notice.

STANDARD 06

Clean Label Integrity

Every ingredient declared on the label. No artificial preservatives, binders, fillers, or synthetic flavor enhancers permitted. Third-party lab verification on finished product confirms no undeclared chemical inputs.
